The Council of Structure of India, with the approval of Central Authorities has amended the Regulation 4(1) and (2) of Council of Structure (Minimal Requirements of Architectural Schooling) Laws, 2020 and amended the eligibility for admission to Structure course w.e.f. 19.07.2023, as beneath:

Revision in Eligibility for admission to B.Arch. course for 2023-24 and conduct of 4th check of NATA 2023.

1. “(1) No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with either chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.”

2. “(2) The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e., JEE) or “NATA” carried out by the Council of Structure.”

Eligibility standards for admission to First Yr of 5-year B.Arch

Accordingly, all stakeholders, i.e., college students, mother and father, architectural establishments and anxious authorities are required to comply with the above eligibility standards for admission to First Yr of 5-year B.Arch. Diploma Course for the tutorial session 2023-24.
